Who am I?

I am a work in progress

I am never too much, I am never not enough

I am in my endless pursuit

Searching for my place in this vast world

Searching for my worth in this tiny heart

I may be little and fearful

I may be flawed and hateful

I may be an imperfect creature

But, I will work on myself, I will do it for me 

I will work on myself, I will try my very best

For I am a work in progress

I may be too upbeat and uproarious

I may be too offbeat and oblivious

I may be too much to handle

But, I will endure and remain

I will trust the process

For I am a work in progress

Colors from emotions that taught me how to live

Designs from my triumphs and ecstasy

Carvings from my defeats and despondency

For when I enter into my deep slumber

I will recollect, relive, and remember

The fruit of my work in progress
